The Ridge at Verterra Vineyard gives you a feeling of sitting on top of the world with a panoramic water views of Grand Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan.  Seventeen acres of manicured vineyards are surrounded by hardwood forests, a beautiful perennial bed that always has something in bloom, a brook that trickles into a reflecting pool and a stone patio for enjoying the beauty of the property.

The Reception Terrace

A custom designed reception terrace with inset flagstone invites dancing into the night. The reception terrace enables you to create the feel of several open-air rooms with unbelievable views in all directions. Our dedicated staff will help you customize the terrace layout to create the ambiance you are looking for. 

Wedding Lounge

A luxurious suite allows you and your best friends and family to prepare for your special day in comfort, with ample space for fixing hair, makeup, and dressing. It comes complete with a couch and plush chairs, makeup / hair area, three-way cosmetic mirrors, and closet areas to keep dresses wrinkle free. To ensure pre-ceremony photos are perfect, natural lighting, a chandelier, and a full-length antique mirror to round out the space. 

Luxurious Indoor Restrooms

Most outdoor wedding venues require you to rent portable toilets. Not here!  Clean, indoor bathrooms with granite countertops, subway tiles and decorative mirrors are part of the event package to ensure the comfort of you and your guests.

Catering Support and Preparation Area

A dedicated catering area with all the amenities for your caterer just as if they were back in your favorite restaurant.  Ample prep space, dishwashers, cold storage and covered out door space give the caterer the flexibility to create a spectacular buffet or a perfect plated 9-course meal.

Preferred Customer Discount of 10% with Event Theory to help make your event vision more affordable for chandiliers, tables, chairs, service wear, dance floor, or any other rental needs. 

Preferred Partner List is available to access some of the areas finest teams to help with flowers, photographers, videographers, decorations, dresses, linens, tableware and anything you will need on your day.

Our experienced event staff will assist you with the planning details of your wedding celebration; helping with local lodging, vendors and act as your onsite professional to help guide you with your plans so you make the most of your day. Included in your event package is a timeline, a day-of coordinator and wine service staff to ensure your special day runs smoothly.
