Our Merlot is grown on our Swede Road and Mahteson Road farms as well as Kulpa farm at the south end of Lake Leelanau.  Our 2021 Merlot was harvested on October 31st and November 1st.  It was aged for 18 months in mostly 2 and 3 year old oak.  This wine is ruby in color and deomstrates bright notes of cherry, strawberry and leather.  On the pallate berry and vanilla flavors are smoothly delivered along with fine tannins.
