This represents the first vintage of Pinot Noir where we have made a 'Vintners Select.'  Vintners Select represents the best grapes from the best site.  After 18 months in oak, we then select the very best barrels and let them in age another year in Burgundian oak - a total of nearly 3 years.  A ruby red, medium bodied, elegant structure with wonderful notes of cherry.  This will do well with another 5-10 years of aging allowing further development of flavors and softening of tanins.
